Washington County mental health just let my in-crisis, autistic, legal ward walk out of their facility and into downtown Barre in her pajamas. A person the courts said could not care for themselves. We had to take her back to the ER where the SAME IDIOT STAFFER was supposed to screen her again but instead left the responsibility to an even worse screener who told my daughter the night before to just "get some sleep and she can have what she wants in the morning".
Do NOT trust these people. They waited until after 5 to "dump" our daughter on the street so we couldn't get immediate intervention from someone higher up. They have endangered our daughter and tonight, because of their incompetence, we fear for her safety.
We have dealt with them over a number of years. A few staff members are very good. The majority just want their paycheck and your loved ones are a nuisance to be dumped at the earliest convenience.
