Absolutely gorgeous lobby and nice amenities. Rooms and hallways are big, barren, boaring, and has a run down vibe but is well maintained. Weird I know.

I'd say if you're a lobby dweller and you like old style classic classy places, you simply cannot do better. If a speakeasy was a hotel... This is it.

If you're into hip, happening places like the W or JW Marriot LA Live, this is not your place.

The service is fine, but I didn't expect "fine" when I booked here. Kind if disappointing. I expected to be royalty, or at least feel special. Fail.

P.S. the welcome book in the room is actually the only one I've ever found to be useful and well done.
