Absolutely faultless!

We had a family night out to celebrate our daughters 21st Birthday. Because we had booked for an early start we were offered (& went for) the 4 courses & a Bellini Deal. I was a little unsure as to what to expect & if the Deal would end up being a naff option.

But I need not have worried from the minute we set foot in the Restaurant we were made to feel very welcome by each & every staff member we met. We met up on the bar & had a pre-Dinner cocktail we all went for something different & each & every one if we thought the cocktail we got was superb.

Then Loik (pls forgive the spelling if not correct) came to the Table & told us we had been upgraded to the Chefs table & he would take us through when ready. We then had a tour of the Kitchen & were seated directly opposite were the Chefs cook & prepare the dishes.

Then the Bellini s were served & once again just fantastic. Loik then walked us through the 4 courses menu & explained what was in each dish & the logical order to read them I think we ended up pretty much selecting all of the available options - & once gain each thought this was the best food they had been served ever the Octopus was great, the Pork & beef likewise but my personal favourite was the Duck.

As for the wine we went for a bottle of Red & a bottle of White both reasonably priced both just excellent (many Thanks to our very helpful & friendly Wine waiter) the Spanish White was an Alverino & was not something I had tasted before but with all things Meze it was simply amazing.

Before the Deserts were served we had a 3 Peach palate cleanser - & what a superb dish it was in itself.

Finally Desserts & Coffee were served 5 of us went for the Peanut Chocolate option & I can thoroughly recommend it my wife went for the frozen yoghurt & Strawberry s option & was convinced that was the winner!

To cap off the night Loik then appeared with a large dish with Happy Birthday written in Chocolate with a small cake & a candle it was such a nice personal touch & it really did make Rebecca s night.

Of course before we left we had a photo session & the Kitchen staff could not have been more accommodating re posing for group Photos (even though they were still desperately busy)

We were there for 3 hours & never felt rushed or anything but relaxed I cannot thank the staff of Maze enough & especially our Host Loik for all their superb hospitality & I would definitely recommend this Restaurant to anyone looking for a special night out.
