Where great research is done, there is probably no room for unimportant things. I was very fortunate that I was able to receive 4 tickets in the second lottery procedure for myself and my friends.
The tour consists essentially of three separate video sequences in different buildings, which are located above the experimental facilities. Only the synchro-cyclotron from the 50's was 1 to 1 to visit.
In the large wooden palace, a video animation was to visit, the rest of the building closed.

Although the tour is free, I can not really enjoy the shown. Here is a documentation on Youtube about proton acceleration and particle acceleration much more informative and gives greater insights.
