Not a family friendly hotel but definately pet fri...

Not a family friendly hotel but definately pet friendly because dogs were barking the entire time we were there, 4 days 3 nights. The rug in the bathroom was filthy & so dirty it was stuck to the floor. Requested non-smoking & the entire floor & our room smelled like smoke. The remote control had cigarette burns on it. The sheets were changed but the room was not cleaned or vacuumed. Dirty glasses were just turned back over, I could tell they were never washed or replaced because my lipstick was still on them. The shower was covered in soap scum & the grout was discolored from not being cleaned. The shower fixtures were falling apart in our hands. The door at the end of the hall leading to the back entrance on our floor never latched, so anyone could come up the back elevator from the pool/golf area and enter the hotel without a key card. We chose Bellterra because they were a sponsor for the Regatta we were in town for. Maybe the hotel makes enough money from the casino end that they don't care about families using the hotel accommodations, maybe they don't care about people trying to support the Regatta by patronizing sponsors, I'm not sure but they really don't seem to care. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.
