Staff is wonderful, the valet, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant wait staff, all we're friendly, knowledge and very helpful. I usually don't fine where I stay but The Berkeley is an exception. Do not miss the real Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. No filler, just pure crabmeat. Their version of Shrimp and grits with losbser and pork belly over pimento cheese grits is amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of Shockoe Slip, near the Capitol, close to many historical sites.
