I normally would not leave a review for a debt collector, but I feel like I should with this one. When I first started receiving calls from this collector regarding an older debt that I have they were completely unreasonable with me. I got defensive and mean and unreasonable with these people, but only when they questioned my character and my situation. It is hard enough as is to address a debt that hurt your life tremendously, but when your character is questioned it makes it even more difficult. Upset with the situation, I called to speak to a supervisor. And while he was in agreeance with his employees initially, he ended up apologizing to me after I revealed some personal information as to why I was unable to make a significant payment to the debt I owed. I actually appreciate this. Apologizing after having a hard conversation with someone isnt always easy and I appreciate this company for actually apologizing. I was not nice to them and I got extremely frustrated, and I acted as such. But it came to a point where we were just humans with one another, and I commend that. My advice to this company is just try to be more human with the people you're collecting from. It is really hard for some people and believe it or not talking about some debt for some people brings up traumatic things. It is hard to have a conversation with people who are upset, but work with them and be human with them and you may have a better opportunity to come to an agreement on something. Best wishes.
