The museums history, as well as the ideas and messages from its founder Duncan Phillips, gives all visitors an intimate view of the artwork. Also with Pierre-Auguste Renoir's famous "Luncheon of the Boating Party" residing permanently there, The Phillips Collection is a necessary stop for anyone visiting or living in D.C.
