Lies, false allegations and threating Behaviour!


The PC came a few day later but unfortunatley the lights on the front of the case were inoperative, the internal lights did not fuction with the rear control buttons and and the itself PC was overheating.
The PC had only been out of the box for appox 4 hours as I had tried to down load the software to get the lights to works before I followed the packing instructions to raise a return. I called as advised the next morning and my return was accepted.
DPD picked the PC up and 13 days later I recieved an email telling me that the PC was damaged and was not covered on the warrenty ?
I contacted customer services and I was told that the glass was broken ?
I told then that it was packaged correctly so I cannot see how that had happened. I told them that I would not take it back as I had not caused the damage and as it was their courier that picked it up and they had had it for 13 days that this must have happened in that time period... They then told me if I did not accept it back they would destroy it ? Are you kidding me.. you cannot tell a customer that Laura !
I asked to speak to a supervisor and had to call myself again next day as it was getting late and they were supposed to contact me, I had the same customer advisor again who just didnt come across as helpful, put me through, when I asked about the damage the supervisor had told me that the case was damaged and not the Glass...?
I sent them the pictures of the packaged Item before it was sent back to them.. but no dice! They said it was all working correctly.. I asked for the test rsults for the overheating.. they did'nt have this info as they had not tested it ? I asked them for pictures of the damage which I recieved three weeks later !!?
Then only after I had asked had they took a picture of a supposed GPU load test screen that could have been the test results from a toaster as it was just blurry, I also asked them to send me the pictures of the lights on the front of the case in good working order.. they did not send them to me, I asked them to prove that the buttons worked the lights inside the case.. they sent no such evidence!
They also quite happily kept opening a closed returns to update it when I questioned why the damage had not been already wriiten in as the reason for return with no actual detail of the damage.
This went on for 6 weeks which was basically along the lines of we are sending it back or else.. its only because I refused to take it back, double checked my consumer rights and asked to speak to an actual manager that they refunded me.

I didnt even recieve an apology!

Dear Ebuyer,
Your Staff need an attitude adjustment, you should not lie about destroying items to bully customers into taking back faulty goods you supply, you should actually test items and give evidence that these items are working correctly before trying to palm them back and you should get you're initial story straight without having a customer tell you what you need to do!
You do not deserve even a single star for the travesty you call customer service!

Ebuyer Customer Advice:

If you buy from Ebuyer and you want to return an Item, make sure you take pictures unboxed and repackaged do not give in to bullying tactics reffering to them destroying the item returned as until rfunded it is still yours.. this is just blowing smoke...and remember.. Consumer Law states that they have to prove you damaged the item.
Make sure you log and record every phonecall just as I did as this can be used as prime evidence of threataning behaviour.

I used to use Ebuyer a lot and also recommended them to others... lol never again! Anther customer lost and you're review score just gets lower.
