1: Friendly staffs. (Half star)
2: Great room size and view. (1.5 star)

Cons: WORST hotel experience ever!

1: Checked in at 3pm on Saturday and the room next to mine had a used food tray. We returned to the room around 2am and to my surprise, the food tray was still there. Sunday at mid-day I lost a $30 bet because....the dirty tray was still residing in the hallway. I had to ask the Front Desk to remove it. How disappointing for a 5 star hotel!

2: On requesting the tray to be removed, I also asked for our room to be serviced by Housekeeping. We left the room for about 5 hours and the room was not serviced. We left the room again and came back in 6.5 hours and finally, the room was done....but there was no bath mat.

3: Sunday night was a no sleep night. Tossed and turned the whole night through. Why? Something was biting us and it was not a sexy bite. Could it be the result of dirty sheets? Could it be bed bugs? Hummmmm......so not a Five Star experience :( So down I went again to Front Desk to let them know. There is nothing more annoying then someone apologizing and the "I am sorry" comes out dry and rehearsed!

4: Current situation: We are waiting for the '5 Star hotel' to get a company to check the room for bedbugs. We've got one more night at this beautiful JW Marriott in NY, I can't wait to see what adventure that this hotel throws at us....after all, it's a concrete jungle!

Updated News: They have bedbugs! I've got six bite over my skin. Ridiculous and gross!
