Perfect example of why I hate buying a car. Did a ton of research prior, knew the exact car that I wanted and the MSRP. Only spoke to three dealers. Kelly gave me an email price we agreed on. One catch was it was the wrong color car. They assured me it was not a problem and they could honor the same price with the color I wanted even if they had to pull it from another dealer. I pushed for the window sticker but they said it was going to take some time but again assured me it was not a problem but I needed to come in "today" to secure the deal. I fight 90 mins of traffic and I get to the dealer they sit me in a room, slide the quote over and it's $100 more a month. What happened I asked? The original quote was for a "demo" car. Since they are having to pull from another dealer the price went up. I explained I asked the sales person this very question BEFORE I fought 90 mins of traffic and he assured me they would honor the same price. I walked out. Kind of sad really. I guess Kelly does not value honesty and being true to their word. The process at Kelly is the perfect example of why car dealers get such a bad wrap.
