I was surprised by the unusual style of the hotel after staying at many other more formal Sofitel's in the past few years. This modern and more casual approach really differentiates it from many others within the same brand and this flows through to the overall greetings, check in service and interactions with staff. It was so warm and down to earth yet fully professional. The location is very handy with a street food emporium across the road and the park nearby for outdoor exercise.
The rooftop pool and the bar are a great break from the busy streets below and again the staff casualness belies the underlying great service.
Topping if off was the morning checkout, smiles, laughter and the efficiency of Lily and the team making sure we got our coffees before heading off on the next leg of the journey.
Really look forward to coming back again.
