To say that the staff was rude would be an extreme...

To say that the staff was rude would be an extreme understatement. Their treatment and attitude towards Americans was downright inappropriate and completely unacceptable!! I travel Europe frequently and have been to Holland four times and I've never experienced anything even remotely like this throughout all those stays. Look there are many many others hotels in the area and I would strongly advise anyone (especially fellow American) to avoid this hotel at all costs unless for some reason you absolutely must be there for a specific event.
