As a frequent use of Flagship, I was excited to find Freightcom. After doing some price quote comparisons, I found Freightcom to be ignificantly cheaper than Flagship.

Today I attempted to complete a shipment of packages to a distribution list. I downloaded their Excel template and used that to input my addresses. I went through the process of setting up the shipment and when I got to the page to get the rates, I received an error message.

After 30 minutes on the phone with tech support, the issue was not resolved. Tech support ended up calling me back about 10 minutes after I hung up with the solution. Apparently there are specific steps you must go through to get the distribution list to work properly. I finally got it to work, only to find out that you can only choose the "Best Rates Available." It does not allow you to choose specific carriers.

I ended up missing the carriers pick up cutoff times and will be driving these packages to the distribution centre. A huge waste of my time.

I will continue to use Flagship. I don't mind paying the higher rates. Their online portal is much more user friendly and I have never had any issues.
