A superb collection of European paintings although the exhibition spaces are crowded and airless ( after all the fuss caused by the extension, you might think they would get that right!). Two galleries (34/35)of 18th century British Art, well worth seeing. A really great institution founded on the idea of giving the public free access to paintings.
