I went to take my bike and get my brakes bleed (but working brake), true my rear wheel and sort some worn bushings for my rear suspension as well as it felt a bit loose (although I didn't know it had to do with the bushings). The kid that took my bike said that overall was going to be about 20 euros the whole thing. So that was fine. What was not fine was that they didn't tell me the bike wasn't going to be ready by the time I needed to pick it up. They called me almost 2 hours later (by the time they called I was on my way) than the pickup time. When I arrived the kid claimed to have been calling me a while and couldn't get a hold on me. Anyways, when I arrived 2 hours and a half later than the appointed time my bike was pulled apart and this kid proceeded to tell me that I need to get new calipers, new bushings and that I needed a new a rear tyre (the tyre had only a few scratches on the side). Couldn't that be determined earlier when I drop the bike or called me explaining me the situation in advance? As I wasn't happy to this approach of trying to get money off me I said, ok, give me the bike as I brought it and charge me for whatever repair you did. I got my bike back and the front brake wasn't working. I told them then, my front brake was working before, can you at least give me the bike as I brought it in? Then another guy came in, took care of my bike and return it to me with the brake practically fixed as I was hoping from the beginning. The only plus I would give to them is that they didn t charge me after the hassle. All in all, I think the approach they took to take care of a customer I don t think it was the appropriate. If they would have proceeded in an honest and upfront manner I wouldn t have been annoyed in spite of the situation. The shop looks great though!
