Ameriflex was the service provider of my work's FSA. I have been in an active state of disbelief and disappointment in my 1.5 years of being a participant. The customer interface and service for managing and processing claims and reimbursements is factually terrible. After numerous document requests went unmet, I had to create my own Excel spreadsheet to ensure I was reimbursed appropriately and that my funds were used. The entire system seems destined to prevent the ease of use of one's FSA funds and reimbursement for cases where the card was unaccepted (which is often the case). After plugging in all records from 1.5 years ago, including the random checks mailed to me by Ameriflex, my direct deposit/bank history, and using hours of my own time, I have come to the realization that Ameriflex still owes me $70.44 in reimbursements. I have called, used the chat box, and sent countless emails. Regarding the $70.44, I have been emailing since 4/23/20, but the culture of Ameriflex seems to support a total lack of accountability. Factually, that funds withdrawn from my paycheck has had to be fought for from the beginning -- inexcusable, but especially for a service designed to improve quality of life through the allocation of pre-tax dollars on medical-related expenses.
