This place should be shut down! They keep people much longer than needed, especially a self admit. I was held a week on a voluntary 3 day admission. Why? Money. I have private insurance. Now to make my problems worse, they keep sending bills and harassing me for their money. I could afford 3 days, but not the week they kept me for.
They are not helpful. Everyone here treats you like an inmate and do not respect your other medical conditions. The docs and nurses have zero knowledge or care for your meds. They upped my dose x3! When I refused the high dosage I was told to take it until they talk to the doctor. NO.
I had bowel issues after being given Ativan (which causes me serious gastro problems) and the staff did nothing to help. No clean clothes, no extra towels, no soap or help at all.
The staff is overworked and short staffed. This was not only apparent but confirmed by the complaining of the staff daily. A few seem to carry the correctional officer idea in their heads. This is not jail, it's not acceptable.
Horrible place that is only in it for the money. Greedy.
