Stayed here in December 2019. Grounds are beautiful but the rooms left a bit to be desired. The customer service was terrible. I booked half of my stay with points and my dad booked the other half of my stay with his points. After we arrived the front check-in guy started talking about how we couldn't stay because the room was under my dad's points. This was very upsetting after a day of exhausting travel from koh yao yai. I come to find out he was just telling me that we could have my dad's perks (which I wasn't expecting) and he was very adamant and vocal about it, leading me to believe I wasn't going to be able to stay at the hotel. It was handled very poorly and if he hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't even have known that my dad had gold status which meant free breakfast or whatever and I couldn't take advantage of it without him being at the hotel. Instead I was stressed and frustrated and felt cheated somehow. Honestly would it really hurt their bottom line to give me free breakfast? And enough that I have since canceled my hilton credit card and no longer stay at hilton properties. Not a fun check in. Totally unnecessary loss of a brand customer. Also I was very flustered and unable to understand all of the extra fees they charged me. It seemed wrong but I honestly didn't have the energy to figure it out by the time I got over the drama of thinking that I didn't have a place to stay. Overall I would recommend staying elsewhere between the extra fees and rude front desk staff you can definitely do better in Phuket.

There was also a citronella candle left burning in my room that was so strong and it bothered me so much that I had a cough for the rest of my trip.
