Mark from NYC Review of The White Hart Inn

Quaint, clean, comfortable, friendly, classic, charming and quiet all come to mind. Everyone and everything was perfect but Rory was exceptional! From the time we called to say we were running late to the goodbye, he, and everything, was above and beyond. We got a nice upgrade to a 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms that was elegant and potentially the cleanest room I have ever had. I am the guy who pulls down the sheets to check for hair or stains or bugs. I like to look in the corners to see if they have been cleaned. I wear flip flops in the shower. Sometimes, I am embarrassed to admit, I have even been know to bring my own sheet and pillow case. This place was tasteful, and clean. The staff was polite and professional beyond expectations. Rory is from right out of a movie. Unbelievably attentive and professional. Besides the accommodations, the food was quite good so there is no need to leave the grounds if you don't want to. We had dinner in our room one night, dinner in the very charming 200 hundred something year old "pub" / dining space with original floors and wonderful fireplace, and we ate both our breakfasts at the on site White Hart Provisions which was a very cute little country bistro/cafe/provisions spot that is included with the price of the room. Just fill out the card from your room with your fruit, beverage, pastry, granola option and hand it in for an above average hotel breakfast experience. We were visiting with 2 small children from NYC to get a little R&R, some New England charm and a little child friendly skiing. This Inn made for the perfect home base. Perfect.
