Gluten Free Goodness! This was my third visit and I still am amazed. This first visit was coming across this place accidentally because my 2 year old grandson was "starving" on our way to Rhode Island. It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. My daughter noticed the "gluten free" sign, so we walked in. I ordered the "Mad Cow" and I was not mad in the least bit for ordering it. A mouth watering gluten free relation to any Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I had in Philly. Happily this version is on their very own gluten free homemade flat type bread. The bread, yes GF bread is delightfully warm, seasoned as well as having a delicious buttery flavor. The first bite is always my favorite. The horseradish sauce, fried roasted peppers & onions through the thinly sliced roast beef, has me sighing from the comfort of really good food. Creamy, crunchy, and cheesy gooeyness run down my chin, and this makes me incredibly happy. (My daughter was equally happy with her Sammy the Bull chicken roasted sandwich which she shared with her son during our first visit)
Their Slogan reads: Food So Good, It's Addictive, Please Eat Responsibly. So true. I wish they were closer than the hour ride on route 85 in Salem, CT. Open everyday at 11am. The staff is friendly and it is obvious they have repeat customers from local workers, families and people on their way to the New London Beaches. There are a few tables in this quaint store front. Please go! it's worth it. find me on instagram @gltuenista_foodie
