Beautiful facility and if I was a fan of racing I would probably give it a five star. This place is EXTREMELY hands on. Not only will you see your favorite racers and their histories but there is an interactivity level in this place like I've seen in few places. Learn the science and technology behind racing. I used to think Nascar couldn't be more boring with a bunch of cars driving left for 3 or 4 hours at a time. Having been here at the HOF showed me I was foolish with that. I had no idea how much science and engineering and preparation went into racing and I have a whole new respect. I used to think Nascar is all about the single driver but now I know the whole sport is the performance of the entire team and their execution that can make the difference. The little things like changing the tires and injecting gas on a pit stop require the best of people to do this efficiently and they won't get credit for this but everyone's role is significant not to mention all the decisions that are made and adjusted just prior to the race based on things like the weather and having the right tires or pressure for the track if its sunny or rainy or both. Even the angle of the car is decided on. I can go on and on with things I learned, but the bottom line is, go to this place at least once even if not a fan and if you ARE go asap, I'm sure you will love it.
