I was surprised that the NG did not balance the exhibition with a mention of the racism, rape, land grabs & extermination going on at the time that the uninvited Europeans were enjoying their artistic frolics in France etc.

This completed the total annihilation of the residents of Tasmania 6,000 in total, by the Australian settlers.
