We stayed here a few years ago and absolutely loved it. We were so excited to return. But... rooms are shabby. Lights don t work, rickety furniture, faulty ac, no towels anywhere upon arrival. Now a botched or delayed linen delivery can happen anywhere, especially during a pandemic. But the front desk staff was not exactly apologetic. And when I went down to alert them... very politely and with understanding... that we were very disappointed in our 2 rooms and would happily pay for an upgrade, there were no rooms available. If the hotel is at half capacity how can there be no available rooms? Pool area was strewn with dirty towels and abandoned glasses, garbage. The location is lovely, but our rooms right off the main staircase were a huge let down. Would not return for another stay.
