I loved the variety of study abroad programs that were available. My experience in Tours, France during the summer of 2002 was absolutely amazing. I also participated in an alternative Spring Break to Quebec City, Quebec. I'm still friends with people from both experiences even ten years out of college. My sister, from the class of '12 went to Valencia, Spain with MSU, and also found it to be a life-changing experience.
The campus, especially the North end, is absolutely beautiful. I just love the older buildings, including the Mason/Abbott/Snyder/Phillips complex. That was a great place to live for short walks to class if you were in the College of Arts & Letters. I really enjoyed shopping and hanging out on Grand River while an undergrad as well.
