I currently have rather mixed feelings with this company. The visit there now feels 'trusted', but actually because of the high number of visits that I had to make in recent years because my Volvo failed again and again (I have two cars, one made in Germany is never wrong, the other, the Volvo, therefore, falters almost every year).
At van Kuyk there is a beautiful coffee corner with chairs, that is of course the same, Scandinavian design and the company makes a light, well-kept and open impression. No, waiting there is not a punishment and that is nice to know.
The desk staff makes a friendly, accurate but sometimes also a bit of a hasty impression, of course, customers set the bar high nowadays. What do we do to ourselves I think when I see that.
Also the toilets, often a poor child, are neat and fresh, yet nice to know, it is the details that make him feel and customers associate a possibly dirty backside of a company with the front side and then naturally with the maintenance on it. their own car.
At the front is the always cheerful receptionist Kiki, 'the ever cheerful sounding entrance' at van Kuyk: 'With Volvo Ton van Kuyk !, with Kiki!' You can hear that when you call the company, it feels wonderfully familiar anyway.
The car is even, if you would appreciate it, picked up at your door and when you add this all together you would still think that you should end up with 5 stars.
I once read some reviews and actually, according to the customer, they are not doing it badly at all, moreover, reviews are taken seriously (and that is damn wise of the company) and the name of the owner often follows a reaction , again another plus of course.
Where does it go wrong Niehland? Well, in my opinion, in sloppiness with regard to the maintenance and follow-up / checking of work once done. Please note: I am only talking about my own car and moreover I still have just enough confidence to come back with some pleasure and as I already wrote; a lot is good but certainly not everything ...
My car was already unnecessarily in the middle of a huge cloudburst suddenly completely silent, further investigation on the bridge at a company nearby yielded a (probably in the hurry) wrongly assembled part. I also came once to pick up my car and my car no longer listened to my 'key command' to start, while he was prepared to drive away. Then there were problems that repeatedly came back, not because this was a fault of the manufacturer (because that is of course not to be blamed on a dealer) but it was above all again and again (over a period of real years this is an interpretation error) from the workplace. And you know, that is of course human work, and people do their best there is my sincere conviction. No, the deciding factor for writing this argument was a wiper blade ...
What? Yes indeed, the rubber mounted on a windscreen wiper that is always tested for an MOT test.
For my 'German' I have 'a male', that male works practically for nothing despite being a certified judge of course. My 'German' keeps on driving, the only thing he sometimes needs are two new wiper blades, mainly because he is often parked quietly, it is the turn of the driver for 1 or 2 years and so there are never any problems there.
My Volvo, however, has had a completely worn windscreen wiper blade for a month or two, only a few months after the MOT, this problem started to become apparent.
So my three stars were ultimately motivated by the overlook of a single part, well no, actually by a constant sum of imperfections, the wiper blade was the straw. If, in the coming years, I finally stay free from unnecessary intermediate visits to the workplace, I will certainly adjust this review again!
