Stayed at the Thayer a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much we decided to just visit the grounds again while in the area. When we stayed the weather wasn't very cooperative, so on a beautiful day we explored the grounds again, they are meticulous. Although coronavirus prevents cocktails at the beautiful bar in the restaurant or dining in, it was still a pleasure to see the magnificent interior.
