What a great place to stay! Feels like you stepped back in time, and sums up what Maine is all about. The Inn is a little older, and with the wood floors you can here everything conversation in the main lobby in the morning. So if you are someone who enjoys sleeping in, then avoid the rooms that are located within the Inn (We stayed in the Blueberry Room). They have many other rooms not within the Inn to select from. However, the overall experience was what was hoped for. Will definitely return next year! And finally, Debbie at the front desk was an exceptional host. She just made you feel so welcome, and was about the most helpful person you could ever meet. The Newagen Inn is so fortunate to have someone like her representing their business. I'm in the hospitality/service business and would hire Debbie in a heartbeat if she was willing to relocate. Thank you Newagen for making this weekend trip very memorable. John
