Had a great experience here back in September with a friendly and informative tour guide. Brought some family along who thoroughly enjoyed his tour and found him funny and entertaining. Worth paying for the experience to see around the theatre and hear some history on the building (also it is very inexpensive). We were also able to see some rehearsals in the globe, which was nice. Especially without all the crowds, giving you time to take in the building. Would not have thought to take the tour previously, until it had been suggested by others. Definitely worth putting on your to-do list as a tourist or if showing visitors around London.
