WOW. I underestimated this place. I thought - we don't need the whole day to see space rocks, used rockets and old spacemen?!!!

But I was wrong.

We arrived at 3pm and maybe only did ten percent of the things that the Johnson Space Center has for guests at its museum/activity center. So if you plan on going, go early in the morning so you have the whole day to discover all the fun stuff you can do and the cool things you can look at.

As someone who has dreamed of aliens, planets and outer space all her life, this was my ultimate playground. I was so happy that I ended up buying two orange 'spacesuits' at the Space Traders store. My goodness, they were overpriced but I couldn't stop myself!

The tram ride was the best! They drove us around and pointed out key buildings on the property which is a huge expanse. You will even see deer everywhere.

First stop: Simulated Module Floor where the astronauts train and practice their work. They have a robotics area where they develop and test robot models.

Second stop: The Apollo 18 Saturn V Warehouse. They have a couple of rockets displayed outside and I was just going to look at those and skip the Saturn V. I'm glad I decided to take a peek. I ended up checking out the entire rocket and it took me about 165 steps (I have long legs) to walk the span of Saturn V from top to bottom.

I loved the place and will visit again when I return to Houston!
