We were visiting from out of town and decided to go here as the reviews we're fairly good. It was Canada day so everywhere was busy, and we totally expected things to be a bit slower for service/crowded. It is a Nice spot by the water. Unfortunately we got sat in an awkward corner on the patio that was cramped, and half in front of a very hot heater and half not. Our server was nice, but didn't come around much, at points we waited over 20 minutes trying to grab his attention to order another round of drinks.
This restaurant seems to be connected to earls, but without the same quality standards as earls. There was many items that were the same, house wine and beer list was the same as earls, calamari, Chili chicken, fish and chips, fries/yam fries, napkins, parm dip, etc. We had some wings that were pretty good, I ordered a kale Caesar as my main... there was 2 pieces of kale in it. It was a romain, over dressed salad. The dressing was VERY Dijon too... not great flavour, but our server never came back and did a quality check. I ended up eating only 1/4 and ordering yam fries instead to fill me up. I ordered some bread to come with the salad, it was toasted but cold and the cheese melted on it was hard. Not worth the $5 extra for 4 small slices. I will say My boyfriends salad was good, he had the ahi tuna salad.
Overall, really quite disappointing for a night out on vacation.
