If you are spending one or two nights here, I believe this near-the-airport-location will meet your needs. If you are staying for an extended period of time, prepare to pay a good chunk of money for limited in-house as well as community options. Personally, I doubt I would stay at this location again.

Context:
I stayed at this location for 6 nights for a graduate school program which was held at the location. Continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack were provided, dinner was independent. I stayed at the location for convenience, however several other hotels were cheaper and just as nice.

Positives:
Mobile phone app allowed for quick access and information.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The TV Screen was very big, 50+ inches, mobile phone compatible to stream.
The house-keeping staff we friendly and timely.
Lunch was relatively okay but had limited options which were often over seasoned to the point of being unable to eat.
The dinning locations are fine but in my opinion, over-priced for the limited options.
Numerous areas made into seating nooks throughout the hotel.
Regular shuttles to the airport are provided.

Negatives:
The continental breakfast was extremely limited with coffee and orange juice, soupy eggs, a few pastries which were over processed, and bruised fruit. The afternoon snack was along the same lines.
I attempted to place a pick-up order once, when I had a migraine. After being transfer to several voicemails and going to three different areas, I was told no one got my call and what I wanted (a simple burger) was not an option and it had to be delivered which was $5. I ended up walking back to my room crying with no food in my hands. I suggested the different locations communicate to keep this from happening and they said they weren t allowed to talk to each other.
Walls are very thin both into the hallway and to neighboring rooms. This also applies to the meeting rooms which are often separated by the pull-out accordion walls so you could easily hear the neighboring rooms and lobbies.
No microwave in room, you must go to the end of the floor. Ice machine located several floors away.
Limited food options due to location, with several restaurants not delivering to this location. The distance to downtown, 30+ train ride, made experiencing Chicago difficult if you were here for business or similar formats. One aspect that you do get is that it is huge and always crowded. If you are looking for a relaxing trip, this is not your location.
Staff (besides cleaning) seam stressed a majority of the time and seem like they need to get everything done so quickly, that boundaries and experience of the guests is not a priority.
