If you think you ll be going to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant then think again; this is as much to do with Gordon Ramsey dining as a Marco Pierre White restaurant is anything to do with the old Marco.

In short it s a steakhouse attached to a hotel with a flatscreen TV showing football and could be anywhere in England.

I went a week after the opening and would be very surprised if Gordon Ramsey had even visited this dram excuse of an eatery; he would certainly have been disappointed that I was served an unimaginative dessert without cutlery for which I had to wait 10 minutes.

Save your money and go to one of Gordon Ramsey s fine dining restaurants, this is overpriced mediocrity and clearly a project he cares little for.
