A trip to Margate deserves a visit to the Turner.Hiwever if you are specifically going purely to visit the gallery I would recommend you check it's not changing exhibits and is open. Otherwise well worth a visit but take your credit card, entry is free but there is a fabulous shop which might test your wallet
