We went to this place this morning and ordered the american pancakes with bacon and a natural dutch pancake. The american pancakes were slightly burned, way too doughy and drenched in maple syrup. It would've been way better if the syrup was on the side so you can decide for yourself how much you've wanted. Also the dutch pancake was too oily and doughy and also burned. I've been living in Amsterdam for almost 15 years now and know how the traditional dutch pancakes should be, this didn't quite cut it. The place was full with tourists, even with a que outside but I don't really get the hype now that I've tried their pancakes. Staff was young and friendly though. Will stick to the "pannekoeken carrousel" next time.
