I was really excited to visit this resort. I had been many years ago and I remembered how really awesome it was. It still has some amazing parts but our experience was very lacking on this visit.
There was another guest staying here that shared my name, I actually had two reservations, one by the company that was hosting our event and one I was going to extend personally.
They somehow managed to cancel my first reservation which is the only one I used.
I canceled the second one because my wife got sick while we were there.
They charged me for three days instead of the two we stayed and I was waiting on the credit for over a month.
I finally called AMEX to find out the issue.
Holly and the rep and I had a three conversation.
Somehow they have an accounting office somewhere that had to issue a credit.
I waited almost a week after waiting over a month and still no credit.
I called again today and the lady is off today.
There are also other charges we were billed for in addition to paying for an extra day we we never used.
For a high end hotel I have never been treated so poorly.
I will not likely never be coming back based on the poor treatment.
They are the ones that screwed up and are poorly trained.
They have made their problem, my problem.
Not to mention I have had to spend hours on the phone to figure out what happened so I could get my credit returned to me.
Not the best way to treat a guest!
