I went in to look at a used car and the staff tells me they would give me a better deal for any competitors price. when I told them I had found the same car they were selling for 4000 less then the sticker price they had listed I was told the competitor was not a Honda dealer and the price was not real. I told them I was ready to by the car that day and gave them the price I was willing to pay witch was 3000 less then the sticker price they had listed. I was up front when I walked in the door about what I was willing to pay and instead of just giving me a yes or no on the price they made me sit around for 45 minutes waiting for a manager. when I finally saw him he tried to give me some bs about the blue book price of the car and that's what the bank bases the loans off of and they couldn't sell for less because it would be some breach of contract. even worse they insulted my intelligent by showing a labor report for that car showing they did 1100 dollars in work in it after they acquired it so the value should be 1100 more then the blue book when estimating the cars value. when I looked at the sheet the cost was almost all in house labor costs. Only about 300 was parts costs and the rest was labor witch is not a true cost to the dealership because the guys doing the work are not making the 100 an hour they they are showing on report for the work. also the car they were trying to sell me had chipped paint and scratches and the tiers were not new. they probably had closer to 60% tread left. needless to say I went to another dealership and did purchase the other car for 4000 less. I will never even consider using this dealership again. they were dishonest and intentionally miss leading and wasted almost an hour of my time.
