Had a very bad experience today at the electric safari. The lights were nice, but everything else was absolutely horrible. We had to battle so much traffic, just to get turned around and forced to take the shuttle. We had to wait 45 min to get on the shuttle. Then wait again once we finally got up there to pay to get in. It so crowded, we could hardly see any animals. I feel like my money was completely wasted, as I even had to pay for my 12 month old child to get in. We have been long time members of this zoo, and feel like that it is becoming completely unenjoyable. We will no longer be going to this zoo. One suggestion I have is to have special events like this be purchased in advance, and scanned at the gate. People could purchase tickets in which it specifically states are for shuttle or for parking at the zoo. I really think this is necessary for popular events like the electric safari. It really isn't fair for paying customers to be forced to deal with such frustrating conditions. There really needs to be a limit on how many people can come to these special events in one night.
