I already wasn't a fan of paying 70-some dollars just to have them check to see what's wrong, but what really got me angry was their price estimate for the repair. Just under 2k for a faulty catalytic converter? That seemed way too high; I think the guy even knew he was asking for too much. Anyway, other than the lurking feeling that they tried to fleece me, they didn't stand out as being good or bad.
