Evan Perez Review of Renaissance Hotel Seattle

Overall, this was a good place to stay, but there were some downsides. The hotel is located just a few blocks south of the main shopping district I'm downtown, which was nice, but it was also on the steepest hills around. The room was clean and chic, nothing to write home about. Bed was firm and bedding was soft, just the way they should be. Doesn't seem like the hotel had the best views, there is a taller building on the west side of the same block, so the waterfront is mostly blocked from view. We were on the south side, overlooking pretty much just I-5. No switch for the fan in the bathroom, so it got a little muggy after showering. The TV service was great, included Netflix and HBO GO in the channel selection. The remote control was backlit, which made it a lot easier to channelsurf in the dark after the kids fell asleep. Didn't utilize the lounge/bar/restaurant downstairs, but it looked ritzy. Staff were pleasant and courteous.
