Overall Great, but there is some room for improvement. Snapshot. Very kid friendly, very friendly staff, Very attentive, with a few exceptions (I'll expand on that later) Lots of activities offered for families. A bit overpriced, especially at the restaurants (some more then others) Don't waste your money on the gift shop deserts or the "Eagle's Nest." More details. I have stayed here twice. At my 1st stay during check-in they tried to pull a fast one by switching my room and trying to upcharge me for the room I requested. I booked through a 3rd part and clearly they didn't like it. In comparison on my second booking was made through them on Hyatt credit card they had upgraded me upon arrival.Moving on the the spa. Probably like anywhere it just depends on what masseuse you get. My first massage was excellent. The second one, I felt that my particular masseuse maybe needed to revisit her anatomy. At times the pressure was perfect and in just the right spot at other times it felt like she was just missing the mark ever so slightly making it less enjoyable and feeling a little bit like I wasn't quite getting my money's worth. The "Eagle's Nest" is a complete waste of money don't even bother going there. Their service was very slow and unattentive My husband felt that they had opened a can of Manwich and dumped it on his sandwich but charge the price of actually making it homemade. I think generally the ingredients were pre package low quality . As for the "Blue Point Provisions" the overall experience was better at this restaurant. The staff was very attentive many of the staff would come over and ask how was everything. However, our waiter himself could have been a little better. Perhaps they use the winter months to train staff for the busier summer times. We need just a moment more but literally a moment more if we didn't have an answer for him within a second he walked away. Mind you it was dead at the time. Then we were waiting for our check for a long time. He served three other tables took the orders of two other tables before finally giving us our check then again served several of his other tables even though I had told him I have the credit card right here he just walked away so I had to wait for him to serve several other tables before he picked up our check and the same deal before he actually ran our cc. All in all the food was good however small portions for high prices. I would not call it Gourmet quality yet we paid gourmet prices. Next the "Water's Edge" we ate there for breakfast both days using their Buffet which isn't always open but was when we were there. Since we were able to eat there twice I can compare the two 1st day great 2nd day cold unappetizing. The 1st nigh at 1 a.m. in the morning our room alarm went off. The previous person who stayed in that room must have set it for some godforsaken reason. I did let the guest service know this and $50 credit was added to my room. While I though a $50 credit was a more then generous compensation they never made me aware that they had given us a $50 credit and since our rooms were already paid for by free rewards when we were checking out she told me I had a $50 credit would I like to quickly spend it on something.
