Convenient, clean, comfortable beds, and the right price led me to the Marriott Hotel and Spa in Stamford, CT when I was in town to see a comedy show in Port Chester, NY. The hotel allows 3pm check-in and is across the street from a mall so my girlfriends and I could shop for a new outfit before we went out for the night. We were debating taking the train (15 min walk from hotel) or Uber (18 min drive) to the show and ended up taking the Uberx which was $23. I recommend if you are looking to stay in downtown Stamford.
