DO NOT let the urgency of the salesman "mold happe...

DO NOT let the urgency of the salesman "mold happens within hours!!!" press you into signing authorizations - you will regret.
I made the mistake of signing on with them before looking into other companies.
First let me say... my final conversation with the PM Keith he said that they typically do not deal directly with the home owner - that they usually deal with the insurance company directly and can pretty much do what they want.. because my situation was a bit different and that I was involved, they were not a fit for this job because I was too smart to let them get away with it
I had a small water leak that resulted from a bad dishwasher install... when discovered, I immediately called the Remediation group to come out. There were at my home within hours... told me I need to hurry and get this fixed... had me sign a contract.. then began the work the next day.
I was highly impressed at how quickly they got started.... That, of course quickly went away with all of the confusion, redirecting my call, and not following through on conversations and email. They ripped out the hardwood floors in my kitchen, removed the cabinets (that weren't even touched by the water) removed and broke the counter tops.... Then vanished for 3 weeks...
I was also going to have them do the reconstruction so there would be one company responsible for everything... ANOTHER HUGE mistake... the staff did not communicate with each other... there were multiple folks responsible for individual portions of the work that never got done... over a month past and still nothing was done except for ripping out the damaged floor and cabinets...
I could go on and on about how BAD this company is, but it's just making me angry...
Long story short - $14,000.00 in cost plus 3 months later AND I still do not have a functional kitchen thanks to the Remediation group.
