I took our debate team. I booked about a month in advance. When we arrived, our rooms weren't ready even though I paid more for early check-in. After waiting, the team was given rooms all over the hotel although I requested that they be together. One of our rooms was changed from two queens to one king... for four kids!
The only (and a big) positive was the housekeeping staff. My room was impeccable and they were so accommodating when asked for anything at all.
The biggest mess was after we checked out and my personal credit card was charged IN ADDITION to the payment sent by our school. I had to go back and forth with the finance department for over a week! Let's just say our team will find different accommodations next year.
