Tonight was a 'last-minute' celebration of birth. It was just the four of us. At first it seemed as though we might wait a while before being greeted or served water. As one server walked-in the lounge area and took notice, a few short moments later, the person who was going to be our server walked up and greeted us and quickly made haste to service us. From there the evening went on gracefully. Drinks came out momentarily after ordering appetizers, salad and entrees. Our server checking on us only to perform necessary service actions. Which begs me to question, was it really that busy? Or are they shorted staffed? In any case the food was as expected and just filling. We end with a 'Port' they will be doing away with and an 'old' menu item dessert. All in all a pleasant experience. Just not quite the one we were hoping for. Which would be a slight hop up in menu selection and perhaps a more appropriate amount of staff. Or a floor manager present? Thank you Kauai Pasta Kapa'a.
