The Stamford Marriott hotel is conveniently located right off the highway and road noise within the rooms is minimal. The restaurant and bar provide quality food and the staff is attentive. There is a spa on site for relaxation though I've never used it's services. WiFi is free and available everywhere in the building and had decent speed. The downside is that the hotel shows it's age- there are numerous marks and scratches on surfaces throughout the rooms, elevators, and so on. Some showers had a cracked tile or a bit of caulk turned black. The room dies allow you to control the temperature, but does not have a separate fan control. However, after many visits I find that the staff is exceptional and have met many people I would consider friends including Delmy and Roger. They have gone out of their way to ensure comfort and to provide service better than other hotels in the area. Overall I'd recommend staying at the Stamford Marriott.
