After several bad experiences with other dealerships in the Capital Region, I was dreading the car buying experience. I saw that DePaula Chevrolet, opened a new store, Maserati of Albany and also featured a large selection of used vehicles. After finding a few vehicles within my price range online ,(not a Maserati) I decided to give DePaula a shot. I expected the same old story when I pulled into their lot; some sleazy salesperson promising me the world only to forget about me once the purchase was made. However, DePaula Chevrolet completely changed my preconceived notions of the car buying experience.

When I arrived to the store I was greeted (not attacked) by a saleswoman named Rachael Mayer. I could tell this would be a different experience because of how personable and genuine Rachael seemed. After getting to know me and learning about the cars I was interested in, Rachael took me on a couple test drives, taking time to point out the features of each vehicle. Rachael never once made me feel pressured or rushed and it was very clear to me that her main goal was to make sure we found a car that I would love. I ended up getting a great deal on a Jeep and driving it home that day. Rachael followed up with me to make sure everything was okay with the car which I appreciated. She even answered some questions for me in regards to leasing options at their other store for my Mother. My Mother ended up leasing a new vehicle from Rachael and had nothing but great things to say about her and the staff at the other location.
