I ve hired American Custom for a number of projects over the years including replacement windows, doors, custom window trim, and most recently a complete demolition, design and installation of a custom full bathroom in a tight space in our basement.

When you aren t in the business of construction, remodeling and restoration, it s difficult to know who you can trust. From the top down, every member of the staff at American Custom I ve had the pleasure to interact with has been friendly, easy to talk to, professional and helpful. They always quickly determine my level of understanding of the project and talk to me at my level. I ve never felt anyone was talking over my head, and have never felt anyone was talking down to me. It s a great skill and difficult to find!

Another thing about American I like so much is I ve never felt pressured to purchase a particular product or package . They have always been up front with me, explaining the pros and cons of my choices, are eager for my input, and always explain step-by-step how the project will be completed.

Most importantly, when presented with a written estimate, everything is described in detail, along with the costs. If there are any potential hidden obstacles that may result in additional work being necessary, they are discussed up front, and I ve always had the opportunity to comfortably clarify any questions I might have before I sign a contract.

Please note: If your only consideration for your project is price, American Custom may not make it onto your short list. But don t judge them on cost alone. I have found their prices to often be higher than many other contractor s bids. However, I will also tell you this. I ve made the choice to have a few projects done by other contractors because they were less expensive. There is simply no comparison! With American Custom, you truly get what you pay for. The quality of work, the attention to detail and the finished product is worth every single penny!

In summary, I m not easy to please. But after working with American Custom, it would be extremely difficult for me to justify choosing another contractor over American Custom for any future project at my home. They re simply the best at what they do!
