I had a very bad experience with QMF recently. I ordered an IPhone7Plus but had to cancel the order in a few days. I called the customer service to cancel it. The gentleman said it will be cancelled and I will receive a confirmation by email. However having not received the cancellation confirmation for few days, I sent an email which was acknowledged and said order is cancelled and refund will be issued in 14 working days.
Bear in mind that the product was not dispatched after 5 days of placing the order.
I never heard of a refund to take 14 days, that too working ones. Today is the 23rd day ( and 14th working day i.e. excluding three bank holidays and three weekends) and I have not received a refund yet.
Almost all the retailers in the UK keep product in stock, dispatch by next day. QMF mentions they dispatch upto 7 days from date of order.
Almost all the retailers in the UK process refund as soon the order is cancelled (or product is received back in case of a return) and mention 3-7 days for the refund to hit the account. QMF 'has' a 'policy' of 14 'working' days refund. But it is not mentioned in their website anywhere. they have mentioned '14 days return gurarantee' but this is different.
I even asked in an email to send me the link to the page where this 14 day refund policy is located, the reply was a blatant 'please view the terms an condition on our site' and this does not exist in the website.
QMF is holding my money for a unnecessary and unreasonable period of time.
I would have given negative stars (stars???) if they were available. QMF ID : 227204
