Had a wonderful meal this evening with my at The Dining Room at Trunkwell House. A small and intermate restaurant with a quiet and peaceful setting. We aren't the 'starter' type of people no matter where we go so we skipped those and went straight in for the mains.
I had the steak as did my wife. Both were cooked absolutely perfectly to our liking. Although we aren't the 'starter' type of people we are certainly the dessert type of people! I went for the sticky toffee pudding and my wife the chocolate orange gateaux. These were absolutely divine! The staff were fabulous and even though it was their opening weekend they were on point with their service. I sincerely hope they keep this going. I highly recommend.
